Hi, I'm Sam.

I am a lifelong gardener and the founder of Bleume. I started this brand with one simple goal, to inspire people to grow plants.

I have been gardening for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of trying to grow anything I could in our backyard. When I was 13 or 14, I started sneaking out of the house to ride my bike to the local garden center (I am sure that is exactly where every kid is going when they sneak out). Eventually, I got a job there and I have been working in the horticulture industry in some fashion ever since.

Gardening has brought an immense amount of joy to my life. I wouldn’t be who I am without my love for gardening. Ultimately, I want as many people to experience that same joy as possible. 

Our mission is to make plant care easier, more joyful, and more connected. We’re here to guide you, cheer you on, and give you the tools to grow something great. Every bottle, beaker, and tool we share is designed to inspire and support your gardening journey.
